​Salsaholics.cz – Terms and Conditions

 

​These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in dance classes and related services provided by Salsaholics.cz (the “School”). By purchasing a class, pass, or attending any class or event organized by Salsaholics.cz, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

​

1. Services Provided

​

Salsaholics.cz and its associated teachers provide dance lessons according to a regular schedule, subject to customer demand, studio availability, and teacher availability. Classes are generally conducted on an hourly basis.

Any unexpected changes to the published schedule will be communicated to students at least two (2) days in advance whenever reasonably possible.

Force Majeure

Salsaholics.cz reserves the right to suspend classes in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to:

  • Teacher illness or accident

  • Studio availability or safety hazards

  • Natural disasters

  • Public health emergencies (e.g. pandemics)

  • Government restrictions or orders

In such cases, students will be notified as soon as reasonably possible. Where feasible, a potential restart date will be communicated. Replacement classes, credits, or rescheduling may be offered at the School’s discretion, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Continuation or Cancellation of Services

Salsaholics.cz reserves the right to continue or permanently discontinue its regular services. In the event of permanent cancellation, students will be notified at least one (1) month in advance using the contact details available in the School’s records.

2. Salsa Levels

​

The Cuban Salsa program currently includes the following levels:

​

  • Level 1 – Beginners

  • Level 2 – Improvers

  • Level 3 – Semi-Intermediate

  • Level 4 – Intermediate / Advanced

 

Teaching techniques, fundamentals, class structure, figure distribution, and any future changes to the level system are considered proprietary to Salsaholics.cz and may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed.

 

Salsaholics.cz reserves the right to add, merge, or remove levels based on demand, teacher availability, or operational considerations. In the event that a level is discontinued, affected pass holders will be notified at least one (1) week in advance.

Teachers reserve the right to recommend that a student attend a different level in order to maintain the quality and standard of our classes. Where a student is asked to change levels, reasonable compensation (such as a replacement class or credit) may be offered at the School’s discretion.

3. Pricing and Payment Plans

Standard Pricing

​

The standard price for a single one-hour class is 350 CZK.

​

Discounted Passes

​​

Prepaid discounted passes may be offered, including but not limited to:

​

  • 5-class pass: 1,600 CZK

  • 10-class pass: 2,900 CZK

  • MultiSport Benefit Card (special conditions apply)

​

Multisports Benefit Card

​

*The MultiSport Benefit Card may be used for one (1) 60-minute class per day only. A valid photo ID must be presented upon request.

​

Other Benefit Providers

​

Payments via partner benefit providers (including Benefit Plus, Edenred, and Benefity) are accepted on-site via card terminal and are subject to the same prices and conditions stated above.

Payment Conditions and Refund

​

All classes and passes must be paid in advance.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no refunds are provided, except where mandatory under applicable Czech consumer protection law.

Salsaholics.cz reserves the right to change prices, class formats, and promotional offers at any time. Such changes will not affect passes already purchased, which will remain valid until their stated expiration date.

4. Pass Validity and Expiration

​

Multi-class passes (5- or 10-class passes) are activated upon first use and are valid for four (4) months from that date.

Any unused classes remaining after the expiration date will expire and be forfeited. Students are encouraged to attend regularly but are solely responsible for managing their attendance within the validity period.

5. Venues and Schedules

 

​

Studios, venues, and schedules are continuously reviewed for demand and operational efficiency. Salsaholics.cz reserves the right to change venues or schedules with a minimum of two (2) days’ notice whenever reasonably possible.

Current venues include, but are not limited to:

6. Code of Conduct

​

Salsaholics.cz is committed to maintaining a friendly, inclusive, and safe environment for dancers of all levels and backgrounds. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Attending classes under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Disrespectful, threatening, aggressive, or violent behavior toward students or teachers

  • Repeated disruption or interruption of classes

  • Poor personal hygiene that significantly affects others

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in denial of entry to, or removal from, a class without entitlement to a refund. Serious or repeated violations may result in a ban from future classes or events organized by Salsaholics.cz.

7. Health and Limitation of Liability

 

Salsaholics.cz takes reasonable measures to ensure the safety and well-being of students during classes. However, participation in dance classes involves physical activity and carries an inherent risk of injury.

​

By attending classes, students confirm that they are physically capable of participating. Salsaholics.cz is not responsible for injuries, discomfort, or health conditions resulting from participation, except where liability cannot be excluded under Czech law.

​

8. Personal Belongings

​

Salsaholics.cz is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Studios may provide lockers or cloakroom facilities, which students are encouraged to use for storing valuables.

 

9. Intellectual Property and Recording

​

While dance figures themselves are not copyrighted, students may record short videos only at the end of a class, and only with explicit teacher approval.

Recording or photographing classes during instruction is strictly prohibited. The teaching methodology and class structure are considered proprietary to Salsaholics.cz.

10. Public Health Measures (Including COVID-19)

​

When government health regulations are in effect, additional measures may apply, including but not limited to:

​​

  • Ensuring adequate ventilation during classes

  • Prohibition of attendance when experiencing flu-like or contagious symptoms

  • Compliance with current government health documentation requirements

​

Teachers reserve the right to deny participation to individuals who reasonably appear to pose a health or safety risk under applicable regulations.

​

Attendance is voluntary. By attending classes during public health events, students acknowledge that participation involves a calculated and inherent risk.

​

11. Amendments to These Terms and Conditions

​

Salsaholics.cz reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to active students using their most recent contact details on record.

It is the student’s responsibility to review and remain informed of the current Terms and Conditions.

​

12. Governing Law

​

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic.
